In the evening, you will be free to explore the neighborhood that you’ll call home for the next week. Each of Paris’ districts over the holidays has something festive happening. Perhaps the Eiffel Tower/ Trocadero for beautiful pictures of the Iron Lady, the symbol of Paris? You will no doubt fall in love with these breathtaking sights and the city of Paris dressed in her holiday best!

As all of our trips are tailor made, we can leave the evening free for you, or add in a private tour of the world famous Louvre or another museum of your choosing!

DAY 3: CHRISTMAS IN VERSAILLES

Today, your private driver and guide will pick you up for a full day of discovering the Palace of Versailles.

The Palace of Versailles is one of the highlights when traveling to Paris. Located outside the French capital, this is where the last kings of France ruled, lived and feasted in grand luxury.

Meet your private, fully licensed guide, and follow them as they take you inside the Palace of Versailles, which you will discover through a visit of the King’s State Apartments. Witness the grandeur of the Palace as you make your way to the Hercules, Mercury and Apollo rooms (among other luxurious rooms) as well as the famous and dazzling Hall of Mirrors… This hall, many times copied throughout the world but never equaled in its beauty, offers a magnificent view of the palace’s gardens. Over the winter, the flowers aren’t in bloom, but the area is decorated for the season just beautifully!

DAY 4: A “TASTE” OF THE CITY

This morning you’ll take a Food Tour of Saint-Germain, exploring some of the most artisanal food shops in the gastronomically acclaimed neighborhood. You’ll taste breads and buttery pastries from a wood-burning oven, traditional charcuterie, cheeses from all over France, chocolates from a Maître Ouvrier de France (an MOF – the highest rank for a French chocolatier), and sweets from an acclaimed pastry chef. End the tour with incredible wines with our cheese and charcuterie. Over the holiday season, you’ll be able to taste some special Christmas treats only available this time of year!

DAY 5: PARIS (LOIRE VALLEY)

This morning, your private driver will meet you at your hotel to bring you outside of the city to the incredible Loire Valley. Here. you will meet your local guide for a full day private tour to see these incredible castles. You will first visit Chambord, the Renaissance masterpiece, followed by a wine tasting in a Touraine vineyard. Lunch will be enjoyed at the gastronomic restaurant of Chenonceau, the second château you will visit, built over the Cher River. Lastly, you will view the beautiful Château Amboise before returning to Paris.

This is an incredible time of year to visit the Liore. Imagine a giant Christmas tree covered in more than 2,300 decorations, sugar sculptures, dozens of candles, a huge Neapolitan Nativity scene…a maze of Christmas trees…

From the beginning of December until the beginning of January, each château creates its own world! A special day any time of year, but over the holidays the Loire Valley chateaux are unparalleled.

DAY 6: PARIS

On your last evening, fall in love with the City of Lights all over again on your Seine Dinner Cruise. During this gastronomic voyage along the most scenic Parisian waterway, you’ll dine on freshly prepared French cuisine coupled with an assortment of wines, while watching the stunning scenery of Paris unfold before your eyes. Prime window seats in this all-glass boat await you! (2.5 hours)

DAY 7: PARIS

Today a Private Transfer to the airport will be arranged for you as you leave the city. Or perhaps you’ll go on to another stop, a high speed train to the south of France for some winter sun? A short flight to the holiday magic of Rome and Naples?
