Our Process
Travel is exciting–even life-changing–but it is also deeply personal. That is why every custom Mediterranean vacation experience designed by Bella Vita Travels starts with you. We have a fairly simple trip planning process as shown below:
Step 1
The trip planning starts with an initial consultation by phone or email. Here we will discuss your travel wishes, interests, and budget. We will informally come up with an itinerary that works for you including dates, destinations and suggest travel route.
Step 2
If you think we are a good fit, you will complete a booking form and pay our itinerary planning & consulting fee. You will then be matched with your personal travel specialist who will design your custom Mediterranean experience.
Step 3
Our team begins designing a detailed itinerary with every element of your trip from accommodations, activities, transportation and real pricing for your review. We usually need about a week’s time to bring the trip planning process to fruition.
Step 4
Once you have approved the itinerary, we require a deposit to confirm your trip. We will advise you ahead of time of the exact amount/ percentage based on our suppliers and any necessary upfront payments. Now we can book all your hotels, transportation and touring.
Step 5
Your trip manager will provide you with our exclusive country kits and other helpful documents in preparation for your trip. He or she will touch base with you regularly regarding your the planning of your trip up.
Step 6
The trip balance is due normally within 60 days prior to your arrival date. You will receive destination kits that provide you with our restaurant recommendations as well as “on your own” excursions such as walking tours, outdoor markets, etc.
Step 7
Your final itinerary will be delivered about 2-3 weeks prior to your arrival date. It will include all of your confirmed reservations, tour times, local contacts, and any necessary documents for your trip.
Step 8
Enjoy the trip of a lifetime! The team at Bella Vita Travels and our local ground staff will be available throughout your European travel experience.

Welcome home! Your trip feedback is important to us. Let’s chat about your trip (by phone or email if you prefer) from highlights to “room for improvement”, so we can learn and grow our services.
