The team at Bella Vita Travels has worked in the travel and hospitality industries for a long time. We have an insatiable thirst for travel and to deliver extraordinary Mediterranean experiences for our clients to enjoy. We constantly visit the places we send our clients and we have built decades worth of relationships and expertise over those years.

What distinguishes Bella Vita Travels from traditional travel agencies is that we create our client’s custom itineraries from critical elements of travel–accommodations, guides, drivers, and experiences–that we have organically built ourselves. We never deliver a travel itinerary that is impersonal or resell you another group’s trip. We curate a unique itinerary for you based around your travel preferences combined with our deep first-hand experiences and knowledge. We have developed a strong network of supplier relationships in the destinations we send clients, we form our own opinions based solely on-location research, and we work with suppliers who provide the highest standard of quality and service whether they are part of an acclaimed boutique hotel group, or just a quaint little inn that you would never find in a popular travel guidebook.

Megan McCaffrey-Guerrera, founder of Bella Vita Travels, made her first visit to Europe with her parents at age 13 and fell in love. Sitting in a cafe in Saint Mark’s Square in Venice, she proclaimed that she would live in Europe someday. A few decades and over a dozen trips to later, Megan pursued her dream and bought a one-way ticket to Italy.

The business started out as a “travel concierge” service in Italy where Megan helped friends, family and guests of the B&B where she worked by organizing their precious travel time in Italy. Based on the positive feedback she was receiving, it wasn’t long before Megan realized she had a knack for planning unforgettable, custom vacations and in 2004 founded Bella Vita Italia. In her first year, she arranged 22 Italian vacations and never looked back. Over the years and after many requests from happy clients, Bella Vita extended beyond the Italian borders and into France, Spain, Greece, Portugal and Croatia. The Bella Vita team has grown to 5 principal travel specialists who continually travel the Mediterranean in search of new gems and travel experiences to provide clients.

Our luxury travel specialists are at the heart of your custom vacation.  Our Italian-based team has travelled extensively through the region to research and hand-select the finest destinations and experiences for you.
